This is a real gem of a digital scale! The weigh platform is a roomy 4" x 4" square with plenty of room to fit in a cargo pant pocket. It's nice that the platform is square because instead of a small cover (which is there to protect the scale when not in use) it's fast. The kit also includes a larger lid in case you need more space for items. The display panel is a good size and bright, and the buttons make a distinct click when pressed. Also, the scale does NOT turn off, which is great because some scales have had me moving things around just to keep them from turning off! (The quickest battery change out on a scale has been over a year, so I don't have to worry about the battery dying.) Overall, this scale seems to cost MORE than I paid for it. (The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wish there were little rubber feet on the bottom of the case to keep it from sliding.)
