I bought this air purifier hoping to clean the air in my room. Works very quietly. Unfortunately, it smells very strongly of plastic/glue (?). The whole room was quickly polluted with odors. This is a very bad experience.

I am sure it is a good product but the warranty is extremely misleading. Nowhere in the product description on this site does it say I have to sign up for an Allen filter upgrade plan to get a lifetime warranty. Totally dishonest and they should be ashamed. I'll probably send it back, I'm so mad.

I went online to buy a new filter (which lasted over a year) and saw that there was a larger and quieter system. So I bought this to upgrade the Allen Air Fit50 in our fairly large living room. I bought this unit to combat tall mold. I received the device yesterday and set it up. I set it to manual as I want it to run at maximum efficiency for a few days to see if I can affect the air quality in my home. Does the fan seem to cycle on and off by itself? Even in "Turbo" mode, it makes very little noise, but hardly any air escapes from the back of the device? I have had this unit since December 23, 2019 and have not noticed any change in the air quality in my medium sized room. First, this expensive device has no remote control. I received my unit via UPS this morning around 9am and it has been running continuously for 9 hours now. I will tell you that I am pleasantly surprised. I bought the device for a new building. I moved on April 27th. I unpacked the device on May 4th, it does not work. Hmmm. I called customer service and was surprised when a real person answered the call. Immediately enthusiastic about the company.
