I have been using this hose for roadside emergency services for a little over a year now. It was great but there are a couple of caveats: - I wish it had a dump valve. With the head attached it would be helpful to bleed the air to pressure - The Kwik Grip head will not fit all tire bars! On many vehicles, the stem isn't long enough to fully fit the Kwik Grip, meaning you don't pump anything up. This issue means I still have to carry a straight chuck and replace it for some vehicles, reducing the usefulness of this product. The end of the Kwik Grip is actually quite grippy and is best glued into its mechanical parts with petroleum jelly. . Protects you from explosions when inflating tires of questionable origin or condition - After one year of ownership, the gauge reads an accuracy of +10psi. Fixing it means you can get a new replacement gauge assembly for $20, which is still not worth the hassle. What I could do to solve my gripper end depth issues when the threads are standard is to add a standard quick connect air fitting to the Kwik Grip end so I can switch between different ends if needed.
