This tool set is much simpler than the box. This effectively eliminates the broken grip point you inevitably get from boxing style when not holding the correct angle or slipping due to insufficient downward pressure. The reason this is such a time saver is because it provides pressure and angle for you on the rotating part rather than trying to loosely maintain a right angle and not jump off the points used to rotate. Definitely a worthwhile addition to the toolbox for anyone who regularly repairs brakes themselves or even just changes brake discs. I really like this tool. More recently I've used it to work on the brakes on a Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country. .Wish it was available when the neighboring VW Jetta had to be made as it has similar spin requirements. I've used the box tool on a Chrysler T&C before and it works, but it's a pain. I'd rather never use a box tool again, but when you're on a long trip and need emergency braking, a box tool should be part of your emergency kit. The box style tool takes up much less space and usually works as a last resort, sometimes failures occur when the brake spindles are driven hard.
