My son really likes this DVD player, we mainly use it for travelling. He's tired of the car so it helps distract him while we drive, the remote control is great because we can change his volume from the front seat if needed and stop/start his little shows. The picture quality surprised and delighted, as did the sound. We only charged it once and the battery lasted 2.5 hours there and back. A big plus for me is that if you turn it off with the button on the side, it picks up where it left off. I highly recommend buying a cover for the back of your car's headrest, although strapped to my seat it's not too loud for me but still loud enough that he can hear it and we still can while driving listen to music or speak.
