Very bright and big, we need something hidden for our dining room because we use it for yoga, but it still needs to look good in the kitchen and living room. I wanted some glitter, it looks decent for the price but it's plastic so you get what you pay for. It looks like plastic until you turn it on and then it sparkles. It has 3 brightness settings so you can decide if you want it to be super bright or dim, which is nice.
