This is an amazing kitchen gadget. I cooked the tomatoes to remove the skin so I could chop and dry them in my sun dried tomato dehydrator. I have struggled for years to peel mangoes, peaches from our tree and other berries. I didn't know there was a serrated knife for this purpose. I'm so happy! It effortlessly peels tomatoes and other hard-to-peel fruits. Saves me countless hours and clutter. The great thing about it is that it grabs the skin of the fruit and only peels off the skin, not the fruit. There is no waste! I used to have to throw away most of the mangoes and peaches with the skin on because the knife cut too much. With this peeler you can remove a very thin part of the skin and nothing else. A regular cleaner makes this unit a bonus. My old peeler must have been very boring as this new one just glides over apples, potatoes and other hard veggies and fruit. Wonderful purchase!
