I've read some bad reviews but please know Tivo fixed all the issues and this remote is awesome. You may have to call Tivo to get this to work with older Minis, but they'll give you some commands to reset the remote and get it working (I wish I could remember them, but I didn't write everything down). Returned. It never connected to my TiVo Roamio box. According to the instructions, pressing the buttons on the remote control will automatically connect the remote control to the set-top box. Never done. Then I went into settings, which said hold down the TiVo icon button and the back button for five seconds. This didn't work either. So I wrapped it up and sent it back. waste of time.

Remote control works fine. However, you must have a new TiVo experience to use the new Voice Remote. Unfortunately, the new TiVo experience is far from brilliant. I was happy to get my remote and use the voice features, but it won't pair in RF mode with the dongle that came with it. Pairing occurs only in IR mode. I have a Tivo mini A92 series and Roamio. I have a 2015 Tivo Roamio OTA. Was considering buying a newer OTA model but found this remote with an update (Tivo Experience). I like the addition of a skip button instead of just using the channel up. The voice recognition seems fairly responsive, although I haven't used it much yet.
