Review on Stay Cool and Comfortable with IO Crest Mini USB Powered Desktop Cooling Fan SY-ACC65055 by Omar Chavez

I had previously bought an O2Cool branded fan but the one I received was defective (blown the wrong way) so I have I switched to a different brand hoping for better results. While I like the IO Crest Mini fan, I'm certainly not blown away by it. The biggest plus was that I was stuck in the office with almost no outlets, so I needed something that could run off my computer while not interfering with the monitor like what I had plugged into the outlet. This certainly works well, but doesn't move much air; not that I expected it. However, the fan is so light that it moves around your desk instead of staying in place, so I had to install it next to my monitor. Unfortunately, this causes vibrating noise which can be really annoying, so I had to put some support there to dampen the vibration and noise. Ideally I didn't want a fan blowing in my eyes, which is also annoying as it dries out my eyes. The short cord also limits how far you can place it, so placing it on either side doesn't work and if you try, you'll still need something to hold it in place. That might work for some people, but I'm still looking for something more substantial.
