Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ EatSmart Precision CalPal: Digital Bathroom Scale with BMI, Calorie Intake, and High 440 Pound Capacity by Kimberly King

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Works great when you have a good one!

This device was the best independent test I've read. I love that it's only accurate to 1/10th of a pound compared to most competing devices that only measure in two-tenths increments. Bought one from Revain and it arrived on time. However, one of the pads was installed poorly, causing the scale to wobble on any flat surface I placed it on. Instead of sending it back through Revain, I contacted the manufacturer because they had the best guarantee on lemons. They explained the problem and immediately sent replacements. Shipping took a little longer than the Revain Prime, but all of the new device's feet were properly installed and no longer wobbled on those hard, flat surfaces. They said they could reclaim the original but decided against it and asked me to just throw the old one away. Device performance after several months of use. I didn't use the batteries that came with it, I used batteries I know and trust. I guess for those who have problems with devices, the problem lies in the quality control phase, wherever these things are mass-produced. It seems quite easy to test such a product for both accurate weighing and all four footrests touching the ground without hesitation. I had to take a star off my rating for this issue, but I'm glad the company got it right with no issues.
