Review on 💡 POWRUI Surge Protector with 2 USB Charging Ports & 6-Outlet Extender - White (ETL Listed) by Mark Quarterman

Warning - this 'protective filter' is a hazard/fire hazard and is NOT safe. The connector area was fine for 4 months, then one day it overheated and literally melted the plastic in place of a pin. (See photo, top right pair of pins, left pin.) The product that plugged into the "surge protector" is simple / not dangerous / has nothing wrong and has nothing to do with overheating / melting. I find it ironic that the name is "Protector" when it could have started a fire if we hadn't caught it. The return window is 3 months so it can't be returned / I can't get my money back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. UPDATE December 2021 - UNIT SECOND DID THE SAME (see second photo). I forgot I bought two and the other one was "hiding" behind the furniture so I have no idea how long ago the fire happened. Once again - FIRE HAZARD! NOT RECOMMENDED!
