The heater does a good job of warming up our 10 x 14 foot family room. It's small and fits on multiple flat surfaces. Stops working after two uses. After looking at it a bit, I noticed that the securing tab on the bottom of the device wasn't fully engaged. This tab is for automatic shutdown. If the device tips over or is knocked from the vertical position, the lug on the spring will lock in the "out" position to turn off the machine. It also serves as a means of turning on the machine. When lowered, the tab slides into the device and allows it to be turned on. The tab on my device no longer has enough "Login" to turn on the device. Since it's a security feature, I didn't want to try to tamper with it. I haven't read any other reviews that had this problem.
