Great item and pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it (I had terrible first tries see photo) Colour: yes these bags have a blue tint. When stacked on top of each other, they are very blue. If you keep them individually, they'll be a lot less blue. If the shrinking has been done correctly, this will be reflected on your product. If you make it a little less beautiful, as you can see in my photos, a little blue color will remain, but that didn't bother me. Size: 4x6 is a great size for bath and soap bombs, especially those with a curved seam. I just made a 3.75" x 2.25" x 0.5" bar of soap as a party favor. I purchased these pouches and my soap fits in perfectly. There were about 2 inches of extra pouches, which if using Sealant wouldn't be a problem but my sealant hasn't arrived yet so I trim some of the excess before shrinking to make it lighter and less bulky It worked but it looked a bit sloppy on the back (I do this is my first time so it's more my fault than the product.) Heat Sensitivity: They're pretty good although I can't compare them to anything with heat a few times and they still stay intact. There have been few trials where I held the heat gun in there longer than it should have been and it melted the packet and turned it into a hole. I had to start over. Generally good heat sensitivity. See what you want to achieve, you can do without Sealing will get by. Having done both ways, for my strict project I prefer sealing. You will see in my photos that as a novice shrink I did a terrible job on my test run. I didn't have my sealant yet, but I was impatient and wanted to try this one. The packages were fine with no sealant until you look at the back. They were very bulky due to the extra pocket that was unsealed and uncut. When I finally got my seal, I was able to seal these pouches closer to the soap, trim off the excess, and then compress them. So much better! However, if you are in a bind or don't have sealant, this is doable. You can also try sealing it with a hair straightener. I've never done it, but I've heard others have had some success with it. Bottom line: I need to work more on shrinking methods, but these bags are great.
