Compared to traditional rail bolts these are much simpler to use. I had 12 railings to install so I used a combo of all the zipbolt products. These and the angled ones where my favorite for easiest to use. You don't have to be as exact with these ones as the angled railbolt. The drive bit does work, but can be a real pain to get it to catch especially if you weren't 100% accurate on your drilling into the rail. I used a flexible drill bit attachment in my drill to make the angle manageable. Once it catches it snugs up easily. Probably still easier than using a traditional 1/2" rail bolt wrench.
