Type of review

my previous unit was the same size but operated differently. With it you first started the pilot, then turnrd on the main burner. This unit you basically operate by starting the main burner at low fire and then increase output . Now that I'm used to it I'm okay with it but took a little while to it.

Pros
  • Compact design for space-saving storage
Cons
  • May require additional plumbing work

Might be good outside while ice fishing.

Strong odor when in use. can't use in garage with door closed. Smoke and fumes become unbearable. I felt ill within 10 minutes of use on a low flame setting.

Pros
  • Great heat but loud when you turn it up
Cons
  • Hot, halt hot, very loud but will heat up a large area. Too much for what I needed.

Great heater but be careful

This thing really puts out heat. Replaced a similar propane heater but this one has a much higher output. I use it as a garage heater. I sometimes find that the garage gets too warm, even on low. As with other reviews, this thing is loud, even on low. Also, on higher settings the outside shell glows red hot so obviously take the appropriate precautions. Not for areas with kids or pets.

Pros
  • Whisper-quiet operation for unobtrusive heating
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in high humidity areas

Great Heater! in my review

This is an awesome heater. It heats my garage pretty quickly. Not too loud, but thats expected.I really like it and would recommend this heater.

Pros
  • Efficient heater kept in basement to heat floors above it.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to store

works great for tailgating

We bought this for our winter tailgating tent. Works great and no one has had thrie down jacket explode from sitting too close. Just the right amount of heat. Good Buy.

Pros
  • heat garage
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use

We bought this unit plus and used it for about 2 weeks when we noticed it was slowly pumping BLACK SOOT through the ENTIRE HOUSE!Anywhere air piped in the house (doors, windows, fridge) there was soot.CLOGGED the water heater and had to replace with new! Clogged the furnace, had to have it and the ducts professionally cleaned. And this is a new house we moved in that was completely updated (every square inch painted fresh).not the walls and ceilings and floors all have a fine layer of black soot

Pros
  • Easy-to-transport for convenient use wherever needed
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain fuels

Works really well, but louder than expected.

Works excellent for heating. What I wish someone would have said before I purchased is that it is so loud. Like jet engine loud. Don’t plan on working with someone in this space, you won’t hear them.

Pros
  • Simple and easy-to-use controls
Cons
  • May cause discomfort to people with sensitive skin

This works - my new review

Throws out the heat. Moved temperature in outdoor workout building 16x24 uninsulated from 20 degrees to 50 with doors slightly opened in less than an hour on low setting

Pros
  • Warms up a old poorly insulated garage in the winter without trouble.. propane use isn’t bad
Cons
  • Can cause dry air and discomfort

It is very hot in my review

I recommend this hooked to a 100# or better tank. This bad boy heats my large garage in no time. I was amazed that I fire it up 2 feet from my motorcycle and car and sit next to it. The heat goes straight up. 26 X24 garage heats up about 2° every 2 minutes. Great buy

Pros
  • Heats up to 5,000 sq. Ft. And operates up to 29 hours on a 100 lb. Propane tank
Cons
  • May not be effective for very large rooms

Good purchase: my feedback

This was for my dad who loves his garage in Chicago winters. It’s was a replacement for one he had for years. He’s happy so I’m happy

Pros
  • Stylish design fits in with any decor
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain appliances

Going Strong almost 2 yrs

Love this to heat up garage. Fast and effective. Will discolor from heat but not an issue. May smell paint burn off first time used but that's it. This one has a push button igniter and works great. Bought my son smaller model and it has a rotary igniter which is a real pain to work. Go with a push button igniter.

Pros
  • Provides a cost-effective heating solution
Cons
  • May require additional safety measures

Everything I was looking for

I have zero complaints about this heater. Exceeded my expectations. Heater works well, heats up my garage quickly, easy to light and use. Would recommend highly

Pros
  • A reliable and trusted brand with a history of excellence in heating technology
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain home appliances

Good little heater: my feedback

I have this in my garage and it takes the chill out of the space (1 car garage). It is a little bit noisier than what I expected. But, it just took a few minutes to hook up, right out of the box. I have a patio heater that eventually quit working and I wanted something that didn't take a whole lot to assemble (I have MS and it is difficult for me to assemble something with a lot of screws, etc.). This fits the bill.

Pros
  • High-quality materials for maximum safety
Cons
  • May require frequent filter replacements

Great little propane space heater for what it is intended for

I have used variances of these style propane "pot" heaters for 35 years or so. They are what they are, a very basic propane space heater not intended for in house use.We use these for garages.work shops and mostly new construction where there is no heat or electricity in a new house. Now this one is too small for that but the larger 100K BTU and larger we used along with torpedo heaters.just depends. This one I use in a small 250 square foot work space I built in my garage. The 100K unit was…

Pros
  • Consistent heat output for reliable performance
Cons
  • May require a specialist to repair

Toasty but a little bit loud

Warm but a little loud and doesn't turn down very low, but other than that with the help of a fan it definitely warms the garage quickly

Pros
  • Ideal for use in commercial or residential settings
Cons
  • May not work as well in poorly insulated areas

Makes a cold garage comfortable

This puppy heated my detached garage up quickly from the mid 20s to the mid 60s with in 45 minutes on the lowest setting. Great value and happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • User friendly and fuel efficient.
Cons
  • May pose a fire hazard

Paint Smells When Burning

The paint puts off a smell when burning. You might want to sand the outside paint off the top part of the heater. Burns like a champ though.

Pros
  • Low maintenance and easy to keep clean
Cons
  • Can be difficult to install in certain environments

NOISEY and outside is red hot

Great heat but very noisy. I wanted to use it for socially distance gathering in my garage. I don't think you could talk over it.The surfaces glow it gets so hot. That's good and bad. I would not leave this running to heat up and go get the food in the house. Touch it or trip around it and you're going to the ER, it does radiate heat though. I wish I had gotten one with a fan.

Pros
  • Comes with 10 ft. hose and regulator and has a P.O.L. Tank connection
Cons
  • May make air too dry, causing health problems

Puts out a lot of heat

Very easy to set up. Pull it out of the box, extend it, install 3 lock screws and connect the hose. Almost takes longer for me to type it than do it. I let it bleed the hose by pushing in the knob for a bout 3 seconds and it lit right off. My shop is 2,000 square feet with 14 foot side walls and spray foam insulated. The temp at eye level went from 52F to 58F in about 15 minutes. I had the 2 ceiling fans on. If I didn’t have ceiling fans I would point a fan up a wall to circulate the warm air…

Pros
  • Low energy consumption for greater efficiency
Cons
  • May require additional electrical outlets
