Great little heater!

I needed to warm my uninsulated garage shop through the Colorado winters. It's not a huge space (1.5 car) so I got the smallest rig. I've been using this for a few months now and report that it works GREAT! I keep it on its lowest setting and a 20# tank will last for days. Granted I don't need to be hot, just warm enough to do my blacksmithing without a parka on (and yes, an open ended blacksmith shop does need additional heating)Would buy again.

Pros
  • Provides instant heat without drying out the air
Cons
  • May not produce enough heat for your needs

This propane heater produced a good deal of heat quickly but its like standing next to a jet engine. The amount of noise produced even on low makes it difficult to talk around it. I would not recommend this for anything but construction use, it also seems to produce a lot of carbon monoxide.

Pros
  • I live in Florida and I’m watching the games out on my lanai. It does get cold in Florida
Cons
  • May not be compatible with your home décor

Bad ass heater in my review

I bought this heater for use on a construction site. This sucker is durable, puts off the heat, and lightweight! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs some serious heat in an unconditioned space.

Pros
  • Covers large areas with ease
Cons
  • May not distribute heat evenly throughout the room

This is one HOT and LOUD heater

During winters here we can get down to the minus teens (-15F) and we will typically spend weeks in the plus teens (12F). When it is that cold I dont want to do anything in the garage. I have a 50k-200k forced air tube heater that works good but needs 120V for the fan to run and is LOUD.So I bought this Mr. Heater 80k-200k convection heater, that was described as having significant cosmetic damage. The only thing I saw was that the knob was a little bent and so I simply bent it back. This is one

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • May emit unpleasant sounds while operating

This things heats up a garage fast.

I just received this heater yesterday. My garage went from 40 degrees to 80 degrees in about 20-25 minutes. This thing is amazing.

Pros
  • Provides fast, efficient heat
Cons
  • May be too noisy for use in certain settings

Makes it hot best in my review

This will heat. Keep lots of propane around. You will need it but that is not the heater’s fault. There are only so many BTUs in a propane molecule. Either you want the heat or you want to save propane. If it’s heat you need this works. Clean and simple design and easy to use.

Pros
  • Safe for use in enclosed spaces
Cons
  • Limited mobility

Cons
  • Expensive

Great heater, a little loud.

This is a great heater. It is a little loud therefore didn’t work for the setting I needed it in and I ended up having to return it. The return process was a breeze! I did have to pay return shipping but understandably as there was nothing wrong with the heater.

Pros
  • Great little heater. Lacks temperature control but heats a space quickly and safely.
Cons
  • May require frequent repairs

Pros
  • Very loud but does put off a lot of heat
Cons
  • Can be noisy

Works well. Heats a 600 sq ft workshop with no problems.

I had a Mr Heater 36000 BTU heater in my shop for a few years, and it couldn't take the chill out of the air. If you were directly in front of it you would be warm, but that's about the only place. I got this one, the 80000 to 200000 BTU heater yesterday. Setup time was quick and easy. I had it fired up and cooking in a few minutes. There was an odor for the first 5 or 10 minutes, but after that I did not notice it any more. It heated the area up quickly at the lowest setting. It is loud, but…

Pros
  • Works real good. . Heats up a nice size room fast.
Cons
  • Limited color selection

Best bang for the buck

Its the best bang for the buck. Its kinda loud if you turn it all the way up but its still quieter then my diesel powered slamander heater. So its the best bang for the buck.

Pros
  • HVAC
Cons
  • Can be difficult to maneuver in small spaces

Cons
  • May cause high energy bills

Massive Wall of Heat.

This thing produces a wall of heat .on LOW . It does make a bit of eye irratating odor as the paint and oils initially cook off . I would suggest run it 15 min with everything open. This thing makes more heat than a few of the tank top radiant heaters. I think it is a great heater to get a space up to temp quickly .then run bbq tank radiant heaters to maintain. This is a loud heater. I don't fault it for that. The clicker does take a few extra clicks to get it lit .the heat adjustment dial is…

Pros
  • Works great only real negative is it uses a lot of propane
Cons
  • Difficult to clean

Lighting is a scary activity as my eyebrows will verify

The striker being built in to the gas valve operation is asinine. Had I known this I would not have purchased this unit. Additionally--the unit is already in need of a new thermocouple. I lit it today and let the burner run for two minutes (more than once) and never got the burner to stay lit.The aggravation of having to turn the valve off to re-set the igniter is awful at best!

Pros
  • Lightweight and easy to move around
Cons
  • May not heat the room up as quickly as other options

I had high hopes. in my review

I had high hopes for this unit, but it just didn't work out.I've had propane heaters in the past with varying results, but this was the worst of them. I attempted to use it 5 or 6 times but the exhaust fumes from it were so bad I couldn't use it. And that was with my 16' wide garage door completely open. Each attempt at use I felt nauseous within two minutes.I had high hopes for it, but I had to return it.

Pros
  • 75,000 - 200,000 BTU per hour made for use with propane gas
Cons
  • Can be difficult to set up

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very efficient for my opinion

I bought this unit to hear our camp tent in South Dakota. It was a great unit to keep us warm on the cold nights in a 14X17 canvas outfitters tent

Pros
  • Building Supplies
Cons
  • Limited customer service availability

Very effective. on my review.

This thing is a beast. I have a 30x40 pole barn with no insulation in it. It's all open. This heater still heated it from 30 degrees to 50 degrees. I did have an issue with the propane freezing though. Get a heating blanket for the tank if your using the small propane tanks.

Pros
  • Can be used in emergency situations
Cons
  • May require professional installation to function
