I used this as an add-on to my garage door opener because I wanted a tiny remote for my bike.It says 12v, and I used a 9V supply on it with no issues.Range is incredible.It comes with the relay set up as latched. But was very easy to program.Manual is extensive in every language.I unwound the antenna on the inside and made it straight. Amazing range, as I said.Code learning worked well.Great find

Remote responds to RF but does not turn light on This is the 2nd Switch that I have tried with the same company That's my review.

Instructions are not clear. I searched online to find directions and somewhat came up with the answers I needed, however, I wanted to use it on an LED light 12Volt fixture in my RV and could not get it to work. I assume it is due to it being LED and it has come sort of circuitry which didn't allow it to work. So it sits in my closet now. I may try to work with it again when I get time but hopefully will get it work on something else I need in the future.

Hooked it up with 120v in and 120 out, turned on power and remote control wouldn't switch on. Tested the "out" leads with voltage meter, and 120 in was hot, but 120 out terminals wouldn't go hot no matter what I did with the switches. Switches had batteries and light on switch turned on showing it was trying to do something, so switches not seemingly at fault. By the time I used these it was past the 30 day return period, so this $20 purchase was a waste.

Works as advertised. Using it outside but under cover on a 12 volt light system. Manual is clear and easy to understand. Attaching the wires is a bit tricky (you almost need three hands) but patience is the key. I think one of the remotes came without a battery - still trying to figure out how to open it! Overall good product.

This remote control relay is easy to hook up and use. It has so many applications, it only limited by you imagination I used it to replace worn out garage door openers that were obsolete jus by bridging the NO contacts across the wall switch in the garage. Works great.

Used to control overhead outside lights to light up path to car and then turn off once in car and so far has been working great. Works a good 60’ away even though walls.

This is a remote controlled relay capable of handling up to 240VAC switching capacity. Shipping worked as promised . Relay is controlled by buttons on key fob. The instructions implied that the buttons and the relay were paired at the factory . This was not the case, however. Probably why they sent extensive instructions on how to pair the devices. I snuck this into the middle of his display, and one night during a bonfire (yes December is bonfire season in AZ), and shut half of his illuminated tree off. The manufacturer of my portable generator said "It is not possible" to add a remote start to this generator. Well, with this $18 remote control 10 amp switch, I did. And it works great. I can start it from inside the house and never have to go out in the bad weather.

Works really good, but they don’t advertise the static power draw. I assumed the 12v model would have low power consumption when not in use. I was wrong.

I got this as a backup garage door opener, to cut into the 12V signal to the door button. That didn't work because the relay draws 30mA+ when on, and the door system only provides 10mA. With a separate 12V supply it works fine. Easy when you know.

I used these on my RV LED awning light. Switch is in a DUMB location. Velcroed one remote by the front door inside, & put one in a locker outside. Great product for this application.

Worked out beautifully. Used it on a lamp in my bed room. One remote I attached right above my light switch with some double sided gorilla tape and the other I have on my night stand. Worked out great. Was so easy to install. Would definitely buy again if I needed something like this.

Item works exactly as described, but as others have pointed out, the literature it comes with is terrible.Helpful Hint: the "On" screw points on the barrier strip are different. One's normal state is ON and one is OFF. I was trying to set up a momentary ON switch for a piece of recording equipment and was stumped there for a second. Moved to the Inside ON point and voila! Works great now.

It's amazing that so many people have gotten this thing to work, and yet no want can draw a decent diagram on how to install it.
