Good Unit, Need to Clarify Instructions for Pairing

It turns out these units work very well. However we sent back the first unit because of bad instructions on pairing the transmitter to the receiver. To pair them, press the programming button ONLY UNTIL the red light comes on (3 seconds) and then immediately release it. Then press the transmitter. Repeat this for the second transmitter. The instructions fail to say that the receiver button is to be released as soon as the red light comes on, or that the remotes must be paired separately. If you

Like others have stated, wiring instructions are horrible

I bought this a few months ago, and am just now starting to incorporate into a project. I want to use this to start and stop a low RPM motor. I had to look at several reviews that showed pictures of the wiring, and honestly there are a few variations among these. I guess they are CYA by suggesting a professional electrician wire this.I anticipate the product will work fine, once I figure out how to wire it.

Easy, useful sytem.

Disabled persons alarm system where no cell or wifi or land line is reliable. Used it to trip a horn so we know help is needed.

Pros
  • Switches off automatically after ten minutes of inactivity to conserve power
Cons
  • The device may not be able to handle heavy loads or equipment

Uses the Electron Theory rather than Conventional.

This is very odd.I have more experience with DC rather than AC. I have never worked on a Electron Theory wiring. Very confusing for me. I did not like the install. Some how I cannot pair my remotes. Followed the steps not will not pair. No rapid blinking like out says. I would keep looking.Just bit the bullet and bought another one, works great. Range is great. I used mine to wire a 40 psi fuel pump to draw fuel from my boat to the vehicles fuel tanks. The ECM completes the ground for normal…

Great range and very compact in size!

Installed this on a garage door opener that is 20+ years old and remotes can no longer be bought. Since the opener works great still I figured I would give this a shot. Result is amazing and my remotes have longer range than most other openers, 100+ feet with remote inside my vehicle not pointing at the garage. Remotes are very tiny, smaller than any keyfob remote for a car. If you ask the seller they will send you a link to buy more remotes. Does not come with power supply but I have them…

Pros
  • Enables convenient control from a comfortable distance
Cons
  • The device may not be able to handle certain motorized equipment

Garage door opener, changed review

Update: changed review from 5 stars to 2 stars. Something must be constantly running on this. Killed a 9v battery in less than 3 days. Poor design if it constantly pulls power.9v,1 channel one button. If you open the case and look at the 5 contacts, N+ for positive of battery, N- for negative of battery. The next 3 are NC, Common, NO. All you need is the next two inline after the battery negative. I programed the receiver to JOG (open, quick pause, close, of relay), cut and stripped 2 wires…

Pros
  • Offers a reliable and efficient solution for remote control of household devices
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain electronic locks

Works great! in my review

Used for a porch light on a travel trailer. Nice to have two remotes to operate it. The case was a little hard to close with the wires hooked up since the slots for the wires don't line up well. Other than that it works great and was easy to hook up.

Pros
  • Aids in the prevention of wastage of energy resources
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain sprinkler systems

Great Remote Control

For lights or sound system or wherever you want remote power control. You will need to wire it yourself, but it is very easy, just cut and strip an extension cord and use a small screwdriver. (Best to tin the wires before inserting in terminals.)Good range, easy to set up.

Pros
  • Can be used with a wide range of devices and appliances
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain garage door openers

How to view pictures, there are no instructions.

good product. Does what it is made for. I mounted the push button by the door. Now we can have lights when we come in. the negative part was the terminal block wire slots were so close together I couldn't use 16ga. stranded. I had to use 18ga. solid to keep the wires from touching each other. So the 4 star rating. the system gives me remote control of the lights. Much brighter than expected! The picture show hooking a positive wire to a negative, I knew that would be a dead short. I figured it…

Pros
  • Was difficult at first, but thanks to customer service, it’s all good.It helps to know what your doing.
Cons
  • The device may have a limited number of channels

Works as Advertised

This is a great product. It is easy to use, has screw down hookup to equipment so no soldering needed. I use this about 25 feet away from the receiver and one wall in-between. Great quality at a reasonable cost.

Pros
  • Equipped with a high-quality 433MHz transceiver for seamless communication
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain security cameras

It worked perfect on our Automotive application

We bought the wireless relay to use in place of running wires through our car firewall. It worked out perfect, and was easy to wire and install. I would recommend it as a great alternate to running the wires and putting holes in your dash for a switch.

Pros
  • Compatible with most garage doors and gates
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain home theater systems

Range is ridiculous

I bought this to wirelessly run a 12v motor and it turns on fine but once you want to turn it off you cant. It just seems not to receive any signal. Sometimes even 20 inches away.

Pros
  • Used for a remote switch to unlock a magnetic lock on a door.
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with all electronic devices

great relay in my review

the wiring diagram confused me at first but I finally got it.if you're not using the relay for 120v+, i.e., if you're using it for 6/12/24 volts, only one leg is switched, meaning you connect two wires into one terminal to provide power to the relay and whatever you're powering, and then it switches the other leg. You also have to wire in a little jumper. Here's how to wire it:The far right terminal will have both the positive in and positive out, the terminal to the right of it accepts the…

Pros
  • Works as advertised without any tricks. Compact. Instructions are adequate.
Cons
  • The device may be prone to signal loss or interference

Hard to program good for me

Program instructions need to be updated.took 10 tries to figure how to program. Must follow very specific sequence to correctly program

Pros
  • So easy to install, Saved a lot of work.
Cons
  • The device may not work well in areas with high RF interference

I couldn’t get the remote to properly work. I have submitted several messages to the seller, but they have not responded to my specific questions or concerns. They only resent installation instructions again. My questions were never answered. So I’m returning the item.

Pros
  • Ensures privacy by putting you in control of when devices are turned on or off
Cons
  • The device may not be able to handle frequent power cycling

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great product but poor quality control.

The wireless relay works perfectly. No complaints there. The remotes however have been frustrating. It came with two remotes and one has never worked even with new batteries. The remote that does work burned through the included batteries in the first week and I only pushed the button maybe 20 times in testing it. If the remotes were better, I'd definitely give this product 5 stars.

Pros
  • MORE FLEXIBILITY--It adopts non-directional wireless encoding technology, allowing independent control without mutual interference, can be flexibly configured in quantity and in operating modes
Cons
  • The device may not work well in areas with high humidity

Replaced a discontinued remote garage door opener.connected relay n/o and common terminals in parallel with pushbutton switch inside garage. Works up to 50 ft away.

Pros
  • Acts as a potential money saver, reducing your energy bills
Cons
  • The device may not work well with certain medical equipment

Order the correct product

I required a electrical receiver with two transmitters, The product I ordered was not a electrical receiver. My fault The device may be difficult to program or troubleshoot.

Pros
  • Works great to turn on/off my camper running lights at the campground.
Cons
  • The device may be difficult to program or troubleshoot

Wiring diagram for my opinion

The wiring diagram is misleading. After a few minutes, I was able to deduce the correct way to wire this device into the circuit. Also, the provided case does not fit, especially if you use larger wires.

Pros
  • Product easy to setup and use
Cons
  • Bought 3 RF switches, not a single one had a functional relay. DO NOT BUY.

DC 12V 1-channel - 2-transmitters (R121A)

Part 1: Just arrived review:I checked to see if batteries in the transmitters required the removal of plastic. Both batteries in each transmitter were engaged. Yes, there are two batteries per transmitter. This part is NOT clear in the OEM instructions or ads. Also, the instructions claim disclaimer: installer should be an electrician.Part 2: UPDATED (20190805) Picture attached shows insufficient room for wire connection penetrations if using the "black" enclosure. Also, you should understand…
