The instructions fail to say that the receiver button is to be released as soon as the red light comes on, or that the remotes must be paired separately. If you do not know this, you cannot pair the devices. The device arrives with the transmitters paired to the receiver, but if you need to change the operating mode to a different one of the three, then you have to re-pair the remotes.
