I bought 2 of these for my homemade Photography softbox. I was kinda skeptical that they would actually be brighter. You know how these china based companies can stretch the truth. But they were quite a bit brighter than the brand new 50 Watt flood light. I bought these to replace old mercury lighting in my plant. Took a chance on these (A) because they were LED (B) because of the price.Install was easy, and I was plesently surprised about the amount of light these lights actually put out! We hard wired these in and do not have the motion detection model.We purchased these for our pool area as it is just my husband and I.During the evening when we want lights on poolside, these light up very well.They were easy to install.We have had them up now for a few months and they have not showed any signs of dimming or had problems due to our southern elements. They are however, installed under the eaves of the home so they are not getting a constant downpour of rain.

Just installed it. Looks like it's quite well made and heavier than I expected. Replaced a 500W halogen fixture.The pictures and product information don't depict the dimensions quite completely and it would not fit the way I expected. They appear to be well built and robust from my perspective as an electrician by trade; I have installed thousands of light fixtures.I installed theses at a height of ten feet in my workshop (1,600 sq. ft.) to illuminate two dim areas that I wish to install equipment into and requires better lighting. I am using these as temporary lighting on a construction project. They are so much better than the 2x 100W halogen worklight I had been using.They use nearly half the energy.Put out twice the light.Are waterproof.They don't burn you if you touch them. They have no filaments to break if you bump them.The mount is secure.The color is close to daylight.

I have found it so frustrating trying to figure out , how many watts used verses how many watts of light produced, lumens, or what Frequency.(which defines what color, bright, yellowed, sun, bla bla bla.These lights are the answer if you want GREAT outdoor flood lights. Used them on an old Halogen work light I had, but replaced them cause if you banged them the bulb blew and they threw off too much heat.With a few adjustments, and an hour of my time and they work great. A lot cheaper than buying a new work lamp. The unit theses lights sit on isn’t pretty aesthetics aren’t necessary, just the work when completed. Already have bought another pair for another work lamp unit, and will leave another review when I mount a pair outside the shop.

5k color temp is too bright/harsh/brutal on the eyes as a porch light, but point it out towards a large dark area and you have the epitome of a Security Light.Update: (3/09/19) 1 month and 2 days since delivered. On both lights I'm getting I've already lost at least half of the LEDs. Still bright but not running full strength.Update: (3/11/19 Contacted by seller. Lights were exchanged and working as expected.

Very bright floodlights. Does not dim, or change color.However these are not "plug-and-play" . There is a fairly short cord with NO plug. There is a mounting bracket, but no ground stake.Either mount on a wall next to an electrical box . or add a plug directly to the supplied cord . or ( as I did ) . cut the end of an outdoor extension cord and splice to the existing, supplied cord.

Excellent buy. You do have to know how to wire them to an outlet, or, as I did, a waterproof plug (for outside).I used 2 in the center of the home, slight angle apart, 10' off the ground, and they light up 20' up into the woods, about 75' away, and to the sides. Bright as daylight.

These lights are are bright. Well worth the money spent. I received them very quickly. I have seen review's about lights that didn't work right out of the box. I had no trouble with the ones I purchased they worked fine. I just installed them so don't know if they will get water in them. But so far so good. I would recommend these lights to anyone that are looking foe nice bright lights.

Could not be happier with these lights! You can see the before and after pictures I put up. Our customers could not be happier when they’re washing their cars at night as this is a self service car wash, I would 100% by these lights again and again.
