Works but poor information caught me out

I got this as a backup garage door opener, to cut into the 12V signal to the door button. That didn't work because the relay draws 30mA+ when on, and the door system only provides 10mA. With a separate 12V supply it works fine. Easy when you know.

Pros

Used it to power a front fog light on my rav4 works great and lots of distance with the remote

Cons

The RF Remote Control Switch may interfere with other wireless signals in your home
