Used this dress for the mother of the groom. The dress runs small. I'm 5'7. I'm generally between a size 8/10. I had to take XL. I have blue, bordeaux and black. I chose burgundy. Black was too sad. Navy Blue met a wedding party. The dress is lined, and the camera is lined with someone reflective. This means that all curves have been displayed. Good and bad. It was very comfortable to wear. Comfortable to sit. Not binding. It can get too hot on hot days. My prediction was 85 degrees for an outdoor wedding. A little hotter and I would be too hot. The reception was indoors, the dress does not hold up in the washing machine. All the lace trimmings on the sleeves and hem were terribly frayed. I don't know if it can be cleaned with scissors or not. Glad it wasn't very expensive
