I just received this fan, charged it and turned it on. At first I thought I turned it all the way up because it was blowing so hard (which isn't too bad). It was on the low setting. So you can imagine how much more powerful the high setting is. I am debating whether to return the fan or not as it is quite noisy. You can hear your husband from across the room. When I wear it to watch TV, I have to turn the TV on very loud. My sister-in-law has one (don't know what brand) but it's almost inaudible (but she also paid twice as much for it). I love the amount of air it creates. I'm always hot! I just don't know if I can handle the noise. I don't think I would like to wear it to work because of the noise. One more thing, I find it very comfortable to wear around my neck. I was afraid it would feel too heavy, but it's not. Although it's "thick" in the back, it's very comfortable on my neck.
