Great for my Toyota Corolla. I would give a perfect score, but I had to hit the wrench multiple times with a hammer to break it.

Poor casting for tools and equipment

Poor casting edges, 3/8 ratchet will not fit without cleaning the edges with a file. The tool will not fit the 2017 Corolla 1.8 oil filter cover. Loose engagement, sloppy landing.

Disappointed with oil system tools

It doesn't hold the filter cap really well. You have to move and try to catch him. He never sits down, so he shows up all the time. I had high hopes for this article but they didn't come true.

It worked great, maybe too much.

The tool works great with the toughest cases, but be aware that it is so tight that once the case is back in place, you won't be able to remove it! No big deal as you won't have to look for it next time you change your oil!

It worked fine but I can't take it off.

Fit so tight had to be chiselled. I ended up removing the cap, but this tool is now permanently attached to my cap. I'll drive a few hundred miles and try again after some vibration will hopefully loosen it up. But it holds up well and feels sturdy.

Heavy duty steel oil filter wrench for Toyota Lexus Scion 1.8 liter engines worked very well.

This heavy steel oil filter wrench for 1.8 liter Toyota, Lexus and Scion engines worked very well. I jammed the oil filter cover and broke the steel filter wrench at the weld and couldn't get it loose. This 1 piece worked like a champ and lost the old filter cap. Highly recommend for any DIY car oil change.

Direct fit to oil system tools

Ordered this part for my 09 1.8L Corolla because I was tired of changing oil and noticed the oil filter was never changed, also I found out that the oil filter housing was over tightened I ended up tearing the case off so I ordered this part along with a replacement case and this tool really does the job. I was able to remove the sheathing using a ratchet, this tool, and some padding paper for added security.

Well if you have a car service.

bad QC. The internal gripping surface was significantly undersized and could not properly engage the 3rd generation Prius oil filter housing. I had to work hard to get enough engagement. Did its job, but in an unacceptably ugly way. Also tested the new OEM filter housing. The tool just doesn't fit. Didn't discover it soon enough to return. I was able to modify the tool at the machine shop to fit properly. 2 stars because no total loss.
