Very quiet pump. Once it starts it doesn't turn off, although the relay stays on for 3-4 minutes, even if I unplug the push button switch it looks like it has a built in power off timer which for some reason allows it to after power on walking is satisfying. Draws a good 25 inch vacuum (my gauge is exhausted). I have ordered an adjustable on delay timer with instant off which I will be installing. I don't know why you need an off delay timer. You want it to turn off at a certain pressure and another, the delay is handy so the pump doesn't break the cycle.
