Overall the product works quite well. I've used it to connect my Thunderbolt3 laptop to my TV and it delivers the promised 4k 120hz RGB 10bit as promised. Very happy with the product, would buy again! However, there are small issues that I can't tell if they are the result of an adapter, an HDMI cable or just a general setup. First, when Windows switches to HDR The connection between the TV and laptop is lost, so the adapter needs to be reinstalled to get it working again. Sometimes I have to reinstall the cable when I unplug the TV in Windows and try to come back to it later. Finally, the USB - c port on the adapter is a bit jumpy. Most cables I've come across have a strong click when fully inserted into the port, letting you know it's in, this one has no feel. While this doesn't seem to affect the connection, it doesn't necessarily inspire trust either. EDIT: it's j We don't seem to like the changes to the stats displayed. Changing the resolution, enabling HDR, disabling the display in Windows, etc. This can cause the adapter to become unrecognized. With reinstallation and saving the settings they are stable.
