Bought these for my 4 year old who was just starting school. His evaluation earlier in the year showed that he excelled in all math components except for patterns and larger/smaller/even group definition. In just one day of practice with these bears, he now uncovers complex patterns and understands why groups are defined as more/less/equal. Big investment in early learning. We also have a 1.5 year old that we will be using for color recognition, fine agility skills, storting and more. Bears are approximately 1 inch long and 0.75 inch wide so must be supervised by younger children as they can choke. All pieces were included (60 bears - 10 of each color: blue, red, green, yellow, orange, purple. 6 cups - 1 of each color) and a storage bag. No malformations, the cups are approximately 6 ounces and the storage bag is a sturdy drawstring pouch that makes it easy for toddlers to use and clean them themselves.
