I like the canvas on it because the weave is very smooth. They are all perfectly square and none in my backpack are deformed. There is enough primer on it so you can just dampen the brush, wipe it off and start painting right away. Colors (acrylic) go very well on it. The only drawback are the corners. The canvas is not well finished on the back so each corner sticks out a bit but I just cut them off with a utility knife or scissors. I like that they are individually wrapped so they don't get dirty while waiting to be used. I will definitely buy more in other sizes :).
