This arrived a few days ago and since then I've been using it every day on my 64lb Husky and 98lb GSD. They couldn't pay me to brush dogs every day until I got this. Furmination has always been a struggle for them - they absolutely hated it. It took forever, made a huge mess, and afterwards I was so covered in fur I had to take a shower. For these reasons, I rarely did it and instead dusted and vacuumed every day to keep the house clean. That's why this brush is a game changer. Instead of compulsively brushing them to avoid the hassle of combing, I can now spend a few (very easy) minutes a day removing hairs right at the source. My house looks better (and with a lot less effort), they look better, and they seem to really enjoy being brushed. Won, won, won! This brush is great because it's large and covers a lot of body/coat in one go and the long pins pick up so much hair that I can comb through each dog completely before removing the hair from the brush. It takes less than 2 minutes to comb each dog with this thing and after that there isn't a single fur on my clothes. They puff up so nicely it looks like the groomer just left them. And I can already tell that it will help with flaking between baths because the pins are long enough to reach your skin. My only concern is how well it will hold up to everyday use. I'm concerned about the small gap between the handle and the rudder, but only time will tell if that's a reasonable cause. I'll update if I have any issues with it, but so far this brush has been worth every penny.
