The ELIMMO 100% Washed Cotton Duvet Set is the first duvet set that I have found REALLY 100% cotton. I was so sick of ordering items that claim to be 100% cotton only to find that the item was NOT EVEN COTTON when delivered! The zipper in a solid lilac brown pattern is a medium weight fabric with a fine linen texture and a durable cotton fabric that washes well. I wash in cold water and tumble dry low. Cotton means no hot nights from non-cotton materials that don't breathe and keep me warm. I LOVE IT! Only fits my light to medium queen sized duvet, looks like it has a bit more room so it can hold a much thicker duvet as well. At the same time, there are no "extra" odd thicknesses. It's nice and smooth. And there is a loop on each inner end to attach it to my duvet. It would be better if there were two lines instead. I know I can cut it in 2 pieces but I'm afraid it might unravel and I don't have time to sew it together. It works great when the duvet stays in place as it is. The zipper is very strong but I would have preferred if it could be hidden so I wouldn't see the silver zipper and some of the white fabric. One star deducted for that. Luckily, in my situation, the bed has a wooden footboard. So it remains hidden from view. I like the color! Mauve Brown is an accurate description. Pinkish brown, but definitely brown. I love the tone of the shadow. Pillowcases fold to wrap pillows so you can use them to make throw pillows. Of course you can also use them for your sleeping pillows. I love the look of the matching throw pillows I made with the 2 extra sleeping pillows. Great presentation of the bed. I recommend!
