Update: A cat wore it for about three days and had to be removed due to redness and swelling of the sores. It wasn't worth the risk so I removed it. It wasn't crowded! All spindles were sheared off. Received Wednesday, removed Saturday. Another cat is showing signs of irritation with a red sore and bleeding. Two collars have been removed so far and the third will be removed as soon as she allows me to. Here are pictures of what we tried using the tape barrier method. Please stop selling this. They harm animals, which defeats the purpose of the flea collar in the first place. I will try to return. We have used Seresto on all three house cats in the past. No problem. We just removed Seresto to replace it with this one. The other two cats are STILL fine, but one of the larger cats appears to be suffering from burns and bleeding. We tried duct tape around the collars to avoid wasting money but it will likely come loose tomorrow. Buy elsewhere. Don't buy this.
