Great pictures - very confusing video formats. No intuitive instructions. You will receive a Japanese model, not an American one. However, the results are very good for the price. Uses TWO memory card slots - confusing. I do like the XLR stereo audio inputs though. Great for the price. Warranty and other aspects are questionable. I do not recommend buying under warranty. just take care of the device. Doesn't sit flat - but ok with a tripod. Records in AVCHD format. not friends with Apple. Had to use a third FCPX to import and then re-encode to 422. I love 3 CCD - if you can wait, new technologies are always around the corner. But the price is good for a reliable 3 CCD approach to dynamic range.
