Good cameras at a good price.

This is our second camera to burn this month. We have been using Canon camcorders for almost 20 years and have found that Panasonic have made a name for themselves very quickly with their high quality cameras and good customer service. But above all, they make a good camera at a good price.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Not bad for the money - excellent photos.

Great pictures - very confusing video formats. No intuitive instructions. You will receive a Japanese model, not an American one. However, the results are very good for the price. Uses TWO memory card slots - confusing. I do like the XLR stereo audio inputs though. Great for the price. Warranty and other aspects are questionable. I do not recommend buying under warranty. just take care of the device. Doesn't sit flat - but ok with a tripod. Records in AVCHD format. not friends with Apple. Had…

BIG CAMERA, not an American model!

I have to say the camera is fantastic! I shoot mostly theatrical productions and was able to get very clean shots from 80 feet from the stage. I found the camera to be very intuitive to use straight out of the box and I really like the three rings and their functions. Since the light changes A LOT in the theater I really enjoyed the iris ring. I am very happy with my purchase. The reason for only three stars is that the camera I bought from ELECTRONICS BASKET was not an American model, which…

This is a great camera for the money

This is a great camera for the money. Its big brother, the AG-AC130, is better in low light and in manual mode, but costs $1,100 more. MSRP is $2,250, but you can find it at Revain for $575 less. We use the AG-AC90A to create TV spots, tutorial videos, product demos and presentations. It works well in all of these situations. Image quality is very good, but the digital zoom (which could be used for quick focusing) is too grainy to be of much use. Also, the digital zoom doesn't work when the…

  • Quality construction

  • Requires an outlet
