I was looking for a silicone mat to replace my 15 year old Roulmat which was starting to wear out. I was very happy with this rug, unlike the other two I've recently purchased. The thickness is comparable to my old carpet and has a mess of fiberglass. It's nice and big, with circular guides down the center, marked in both inches and centimeters. I was able to roll out the dough without the mat slipping off and without having to put weights in the corners. Cleaning was easy and quick with soap and warm water. It is very comparable to Roulpat in all aspects but significantly cheaper.
