I need a pizza mat that I can stretch a 16 inch pizza on and that works just fine. The quality is very good and it has some thickness so you don't have to worry about cutting yourself (although I probably wouldn't). It sticks to my granite countertop and doesn't move when lowered. It came folded but I chose to roll mine when a good complement is the conversion charts on the mat.

I bought this for my encaustic. (Encaustic paints with hot/melted wax.) This means it has a chance of setting fire to, or at least damaging, most of the surrounding area. This silicone mat is the same width as my desktop and does a great job of protecting it from burning through. It also keeps melted wax from sticking if I spill it. While it's really made for baking, it's also great for hot wax artwork.
