I bought this mat to replace a baking mat that I have been using for several years. My old rug had to be rolled up and stored in a tube which made storage difficult (20 inch long tube) and over time the rug retained its tubular shape and did not stay flat. It's always had a tendency to move around and most recently I've had to tape it to the counter (didn't always keep it in place because it doesn't stick). Dani and Dean's rug came folded up in a box, and after I untied it and shook it a little, it just laid out on my desk at home - perfectly flat and non-slip. I like this larger size and the non-stick surface that reduces the amount of flour needed when processing dough. I look forward to enjoying my new carpet for many years to come.
