I bought these for my 2 and a half year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter so I bought a set for my granddaughter to try first and small beads are great a great job to do, but with large beads this is a problem as they tend to break and fall apart easily. I must have taken out over a dozen that broke the moment you even squeezed them. They also need heavy compressions so I would only use small balls because the big ones seem to fall apart easily and it's kind of a mess especially when you put them all in a big basket unless they improve it and make it more durable, I won't buy them anymore, I only buy little pearls anymore. So now that I see what the problem is I will only look for small beads for my grandson as he is only two and a half years old and doesn't need him to break large beads.
