Review on 25-Foot Solar Powered Globe LED String Lights With Vintage Style Bulbs For Backyard Outdoor Lighting And Holiday Parties by Joe Lara

Exactly what I wanted

These are exactly what I was looking for. I bought 2 strings for our balcony and used heavy duty black zip ties to attach them to the railing. The extra supplies bulbs helped because I definitely smacked some around on the railing while figuring out how to string them (I'm not a very careful person) so I had back ups right away to replace a few smashed ones. The light is bright but a soft yellow, not a harsh white. The only thing that I personally would have wanted was some lead cord at the plug end. As it is now I have the last 3 bulbs on the first string removed so I can have it plugged in (it has to run along the ground for me to have it plugged in and glass bulbs on cement ground seemed like a bad idea). The empty sockets are pretty hidden and unnoticeable with the way I have it (you can see them in the 3rd picture along the edge), but yeah the bulbs go all the way from end to end on this string. Using an extension cord would have solved this as well, but I didnt want to buy like a 3ft one so I solved the issue my way.it's not enough to take a star off over or anything.I've only had them up outside for 2 months but so far so good. I will come post an update if anything.

Pros
  • No remote but lights worked good.
Cons
  • The solar panels may be affected by cloudy or rainy weather, reducing their effectiveness
