Review on Dorman 949 202 Suspension Compressor Lincoln by Charles Purnell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly the same as the factory OEM on my 2007.

Exactly identical to the factory OEM design on my 2007 Lincoln Navigator. The dealer wanted $800 for the part and $1190 for the part, labor, taxes etc, this one was 1/10th of that. The replacement took about an hour, simply remove the passenger headlights, pull off the plug, unscrew the 3 screws and the air duct, that's it. Pumped everything back up in a minute or less. Others have shared questions about how long this takes so I'll update this if there are any concerns but for the price I'll take a chance without a second thought, I don't know how traders live with themselves. As for the noise level, I didn't notice any noticeable difference from the factory; After all, it is made by the same brand as the OEM.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unfashionable design
