Needs to be warmed up
I assure you that you won't be able to warm them up enough just by rubbing them in your hands. If you peel them, they become brittle, and if you manage to break them slowly enough to appear like they might work, they won't stick or pull a single hair. I got them to work by heating the mug in the microwave. with water in it and press the strips (unpeeled) against it. I would peel it in half and that would be fine. I placed one half on the mug wax side up because the steam kept the wax warm until I was ready to use the second strip. That was the only way I could get them to work.
