The back cover is perfect to replace your broken back cover on your original key fob!
I bought a used 2006 Volvo XC90 and the original key fob was missing the back cover and the battery didn't last. I bought this replacement hoping I could just change the back cover (better option) - as long as I don't have to change the body and key blade. Well, the back of this replacement was a PERFECT match for the original (I was really hoping but not expecting it!). That way I didn't have to change all the internals. I'll leave the rest and cut out the key for the backup but it met my expectations - and I'm so happy my key was fixed at this price!
