I am sensitive to chemicals and these gloves smelled like some kind of chemical. Aired them for several months and they're gone. The gloves are great. They are strong and long. I don't know why one review says they are light and short. You need to consider another glove. They are great for washing dishes. I wish my cat didn't like eating gloves because she would pull them off the counter (Plutex too) and then they would be in the trash. Yes, if they get wet inside, they're not that easy to remove, but if they get wet inside, then you've made a hole or you've washed a lot of dishes and your hands are sweaty. In terms of durability and the fact that they fit your hands so you don't drop your dishes, they're great. I also like Playtex gloves but they are cheaper so . . . .
