Review on Enhance Your Ride with Philips Automotive Lighting 9005 CrystalVision Ultra Upgrade Bright White Headlight Bulb (2 Pack) by Joe Griffin

I bought these hoping that they would match the factory HID color temperature of my 2010 Lexus IS 250 (why does Lexus keep mixing and matching bulb types, even on 2017 models, I not under power ). It should be noted that the factory bulbs (which I believe are Philips) are rated at 4300K or neutral white, while the packaging of these bulbs says "up to 4000K". I considered Sylvania's Silverstar Ultras (rated at 4100K) or Silverstar ZXE (rated at around 4200-4300K), but concerns about durability and quality led me to these. They're pretty bright; a definite improvement over the old bulbs they replaced, and their color temperature is pretty close to that of the factory HID bulbs (I'm including a picture for reference). Image capture details: Shutter speed: 1/69000 ISO: 100 Exposure: +/- 0 White balance: The 5500KI chose the white balance for several reasons: - It was far enough away from the stated temperature of each bulb to make the comparison fairer. - Depending on your source, daylight ranges from 5000-6500K. 5500K was a good middle ground. It was exactly what I saw physically (admittedly the most subjective factor in my decision). I am happy with these lamps. If they last longer than the Silverstars I will keep buying them.
