I originally liked this coat for my miniature dachshund. It is very easy to put on. Align the Velcro straps around the next and under the belly and forward. The style is also very cute. I love the back pocket. Well, that's why I ended up sending it back. I decided that over time the velcro would break and give me no peace of mind that the dog wouldn't run away and tear it up. The vest is also described as water-repellent. I know waterproof doesn't mean waterproof BUT after being in the snow for less than 5 minutes the vest got soaked. I decided on a Gooby vest. This has always been my favorite brand of dog clothes and this head vest is better than them. Again, there are many good things about this vest, but ultimately it was the water permeability that made me return it.
