Great bracelet, with a bit of handwork to get the right fit.

Obviously very high quality bracelets. Fit and finish are excellent. With one exception. When I decided to install this on my SKX013, the end pieces didn't fit between the lugs on my watch. They were too wide, edge to edge. The flat ends of the pieces looked like they weren't finished. A little rough. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this problem or not. Fortunately, I have some experience with metal, so I'm used to processes that "machine" precision metal parts. I had to sand the ends of the finials with a piece of SC 600 grit wet or dry sandpaper placed on a piece of glass. A somewhat difficult operation since it is very easy to change the contours of the layer or flip the edges. If I didn't know these things, which I suspect most people don't, this bracelet would have to be returned. Anyway, everything worked out and now the bracelet fits perfectly. If the strapcode folks are reading this: The Seiko Dive SKX007 and 013 watches are designed to take Seiko's thick spring bars. Thick OEM Seiko spring bars are thicker, 2.5mm, and have a wider tip, 1.1mm as I recall, to fit the slightly larger holes in the lugs on the SKX watch. If the hole in the hard ends of these dainty bracelets were a bit wider, they would accept the standard thick OEM spring bars on these watches. But thick Seiko spring bars are not suitable. If they did, it would create a much stronger bond between the watch case and the end pieces. And safer too. In any case, the end pieces move a little with the supplied spring bars.
