🔑 Convenient KeylessOption Remote Control Car Key Fob for Caravan Town Country Review

Looks good, reads good, Chrysler dealer charges $45 for programming and says most non-genuine replacement remotes don't work even after the retailer programmed them (and they keep programming fees)

So far so good. I programmed it into Batteries Plus and couldn't be happier. I had it about 2 weeks. It was a bit difficult to program at the beginning, but they made it. This is for my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT.

Used for 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. Works but requires 3 or more button presses to work. I programmed it at the dealer for $65. A new key from them was about $300, so it was worth the savings.

it worked fine for about 30 days and then just stopped working. I tried changing the batteries but it made no difference. The worst thing was that I wasn't at home and it stopped working at night. It cost me $57.50 to get a key from the dealer and ride my $15 Lyft home.

Now I have a spare key again. It doesn't quite fit, it's a bit big and difficult to get in and out of the ignition. I don't use it for this reason, then it stopped attaching itself to the key itself and fell off the key ring. She put it in a safe for safekeeping in case the original was lost again in the hands of children.

These remotes work just as well as the remotes you get from the dealer, you will need to take them to the dealer to program if you don't already have 2 (some models only). We are a small car dealer and have received them at least 5 times and they have always worked, this has saved us a lot of money over the years because when we buy cars they usually only come with a remote control.

My original two sets of keys literally fell apart. The plastic case fell apart. I was still able to start the car with it, fortunately because it's just a chip in the key, but I was afraid it would fall apart completely on me. Using two keys I programmed this new one in seconds. I'll probably order another one because they're so cheap, about 10% of what the retailer wants to charge.

Ordered these as second and third keys for a used van I just bought. I bought them on purpose as I was planning to add a remote start option which the van didn't already have. I got the program and hit the remote start button to show my wife it wasn't working and the damn van started! Turns out the dealer happened to give me a Dodge key with a new van that they programmed right before I bought the damn thing. Needless to say, the buttons work flawlessly without having to buy an expensive OEM.

Used as FOB replacement for 2009 Town and Country. ALL buttons work identical to the original! Our original key fobs were missing parts under the buttons, so only some of the functions worked. Two "working" key fobs are required to independently program a new key fob, but no buttons are pressed during programming. Mine broke a week after receiving it. It just fell apart in my pocket. I picked it up again. It fell apart 3 or 4 times so I ended up asking for a refund or a replacement.
