These remotes work just as well as the remotes you get from the dealer, you will need to take them to the dealer to program if you don't already have 2 (some models only). We are a small car dealer and have received them at least 5 times and they have always worked, this has saved us a lot of money over the years because when we buy cars they usually only come with a remote control.
