I bought this to program some ethernet connected computer devices for public computing applications before putting them into production and it worked. Before giving it to this random task, I decided to see if it would be a good replacement for my client's WGT624 wireless router. The range doesn't compare well to a working router, and as in other cases, multiple WiFi users lead to unpredictable results. With the frequent presence of 5 or 6 library users using the Wi-Fi service, its performance was unacceptable. It's cheap enough to use as an Ethernet-connected programming tool, which is why we gave it three stars.
