Firstly if I had followed the manufacturer's instructions to start testing I would have missed the LH surge. Every woman ovulates at different times, which can change from month to month, even during menstruation for some. This was a downside but I read about it so I started testing the day after my MC expired and I had a spike on days 9 and 10. I tested at the same time every day at 2:00 p.m. because I read that this is the best time to do it. Secondly, I have to say that it was difficult for her to tell what was negative or positive. You can get two lines, if negative, the second line is much lighter than the control line. A positive result will show two lines, although in my experience the test line is not as dark as the control. The first two photos were positive. The last negative with a very faint second line. Overall they were worth the money because they were very cheap but I would recommend another brand that would be easier to read.
