They're incredibly easy to install (assuming the garage door is metal), won't blow away in the wind, but they don't look like windows at all no matter which way they're facing out. The door's magnetic pull is strong no matter which side you're looking at the door from, although the instructions make it sound like this isn't the case. They may have forgotten to put a reflective coating on one side of the kit I received. Both sides looked almost the same, but neither looked like a window, even from a distance. I crossed the street and stood about 60 feet apart at different angles and different times of the day and they always just looked like black rectangles. When I returned them I was told that Rustoleum sells a reflective reflective spray paint. Had I known this I probably would have left them and painted one side to look like a window/mirror. However, if they are advertised with a reflective surface on one side, they should be.
